Fighting Domestic Violence through Drama, Song, Home Visits and Community EducationIssue: The high level of domestic violence in this community has several root causes, including alcoholism and the money spent on alcohol; misconceptions about women's rights to family property. lack of awareness about women's rights in general; undervaluing of girls education, and a lack of women in leadership roles.
Mission: To reduce the high level of domestic violence in the community through sensitizations, dialogues, home visits, drama, and psychosocial support
